- We assist in developing partnerships between child care and special education professionals so that young children with special needs can be included in community settings.
- We provide information about child development, typical childhood problems and specific disabilities.
- All our assistance is free and confidential.
- We have knowledge of all services for young children in Central New York.
- We save time and effort by appropriate matching of services to families.
- We are available to help families and professionals deal with systems and agencies and to help sort through bureaucracies.
- We have good working knowledge of New York State laws, regulations and procedures as they relate to young children with special needs.
- We can connect parent to parent.
- We provide follow-up and contact until a child reaches five years old, assisting with transition from one system to another.
